The City of Melbourne has unveiled the recipients of this year’s annual
arts grants, with funding made available for a local unsigned act to
record their debut album.
The 58 recipients, including Uncle Larry Walsh for his work Star Stories,
local rock band Warmth Crashes In who have received funds to record their
first studio album; Testing Grounds in Southbank and will develop an
artist in residence program and sound artists Madeline Flynn and Tim
Hymphries who will produce a site specific work in Docklands, share in
grants totaling $765,000…
